ADVENTURE AWAITS
Our only goal at Cat Five Fishing Charters is to provide the best fishing trip of your life. As you step aboard the new 2023, 37-foot Catamaran, feel free to shed your worries as we head out into the aqua-colored waters around Boca Grande. We use the latest technology and techniques, along with decades of experience, to deliver the best possible fishing experience in Southwest Florida.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Most trips are an 8-hour, bottom-fishing adventure. Pickup is usually at bright and early at 7 am. We will be on the fishing grounds in about an hour – based on weather/water conditions and where the fish are hopping. We will fish hard for as long as possible before making the run back to be at the dock at 3 p.m.
We will then clean all of your fish for you so you can enjoy the freshest dinner straight from the Gulf of Mexico. You can expect to catch snapper, grouper, triggerfish, Cobia, kingfish, mahi, tripletail, permit, etc. The list of possible catches is amazing in this area! We will let you know what is biting, and what we are going to target the day of your trip.
This is your fishing adventure, so we will work with you on your schedule and fishing styles.
WHAT TO BRING
We supply bottled water. There is plenty of cooler space for whatever drinks and food you’d like to bring for the day. Bring sunscreen (no spray please), sunglasses, etc.
RATES
Our most popular trips from November to April: 8 Hour Charter
We will be fishing anywhere from 30-45 miles and can expect to target Red grouper, Mangrove and yellowtail snapper, kingfish, amberjack, etc. We will go wherever our chances are greatest to give you an epic fishing day! If that means we need to go further, we will. Putting you on fish is our priority!
Pick up time: 7:00am
Return Time: 3:00pm
Cost: $2,200
10 Hour Charter
We will venture further and target larger species (and Red Snapper when in season) typically 50-60
miles.
Pick up time: 6:00am
Return Time: 4:00pm
Cost: $2,800
DEEP TRIP: 12 hours+
This trip we will venture up to 100 miles from shore and target the largest red snappers and giant
groupers.
Sun up to sundown
Cost: $3300
Add $50 per extra person (up to 6 total passengers)
